Want to know more about a particular country before deciding on a university? Thirty-eight countries in Asia and Europe are listed here – all of which belong to the Asia-Europe Meeting ( ASEM ), an informal trans-regional platform for dialogue and co-operation amongst the 25 EU Member States, 13 Asian countries and the European Commission. Just click on any of the countries listed to learn more about each one of them. You may just find yourself studying and living there!
The Database on Education Exchange Programmes (DEEP) aims to provide students with comprehensive online information on:
(a) Universities and their academic programmes in the 38 ASEM countries;
(b) Cross-region exchanges for university students and lecturers and academic co-operation among HEIs; and
(c) General entry requirements and country profiles.
The availability of such information will create better awareness among university students in Asia and Europe of study opportunities available in the other region and place them in a better position to make the necessary assessment of possible benefits. |
